Claudia Jones

Claudia is the founder of Bstars After School Club. She is an experienced actor, musician, author, and teacher with over 13 years of teaching performing arts in schools. Claudia has acted in a variety of theatre productions, including To Kill a Mockingbird, The Laramie Project, Dancing at Lughnasa, and Pomona.

She has also brought historical characters to life at major museums such as the Museum of London and the Science Museum. Alongside her teaching, Claudia is writing a children’s book series and continues to share her love for the performing arts with young people.

Dance & Musical Theatre Teacher

Nadine David

Nadine has been running performing arts after-school clubs for over 10 years. She brings a wealth of experience in a variety of dance styles, including Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Street Dance, Dancehall, and Acrobatics. Nadine is also a talented singer and has directed many of Bstars’ productions, including Cinderella, Sister Act, and The Lion King. Her passion for dance and theatre shines through in every class she teaches.

Teaching Assistant

Melissa

Melissa is a dedicated teaching assistant with a real passion for working with children. She holds qualifications in child protection, food hygiene, childcare, and first aid. She also has a degree and brings her knowledge and warmth to support both the children and the team at Bstars.

Club Manager & Kids Club Leader

Olga Barsoum

Olga has been part of the Bstars family for many years and has worked as the Club Manager for the past two. She has three children who all attend Bstars and brings a warm, caring approach to everything she does. Olga has a background in arts and crafts and leads our popular Kids Club programme every Thursday.

Outside of Bstars, Olga runs a fantastic youth film project in Newham, helping young people explore their creativity.

Bernice Jeffrey

Bernice has been with Bstars since it began in 2013. She has a strong background in teaching dance, drama, and music and brings years of experience from working in a variety of sectors.

Bernice has a warm and encouraging approach that helps every child feel confident and included in her classes.

Catering Assistant

Sumy Saravan

Sumy has worked in after-school clubs for over six years and is passionate about providing healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for the children at Bstars. She is fully qualified in food hygiene and paediatric first aid, ensuring that every child is well cared for at snack time.
